WebcamMax is an advanced piece of software that enables you to place overlays, text, images and effects over your Webcam. If you don't have a Webcam, WebcamMax features a screen capture mode, designed to make you computer see your screen as a Webcam. You can either use the full screen or select individual windows or parts of the screen to broadcast.

WebcamMax  also allows you to create your own effects and to download new one's from their website. You can also take screen shots from the software and the software also allows you to draw over the image, as if you were using a tool like Paint.

WebcamMax is not free software, although they offer a free trial edition that lasts for 30 days. The trial will place a watermark in the recorded image.
